Ping Pong Club was inspired by the notorious Dr. Pongs in Berlin. The Manchester version was put together in 2010 by Lois Macdonald, Helen Collett and Anna Beam as a way to help fund their artistic endeavours, at that time Mill24. Also aboard ship ping pong are DJ's Mark from Up The Racket and Jonny of Your Moma's Cookin Fame. The first two nights were held at Islington Mill and will now continue at Soup Kitchen in the northern quarter.
